Janzen Depse has been chosen to be on the Phillipine Curling Team and will compete in the World Junior B Curling Championships in Finland. He could use your help to pay some of the expenses involved. Please donate at: https://gofund.me/d3cc2a16b

The BC 55+ Games were held in Kamloops from September 9th to 12th. Over 3,000 athletes were registered for the various sports. Representing Merritt in women’s curling was Team Newton (Lynn Newhouse, Lorna Latremouille, Shelley Sanders and Susan Newton). While they didn’t come home with a gold medal (that went to Team Shantz from Zone 2 – Vancouver Island North), our team enjoyed their time in the games (and tied for third in their pool).

Please note: Teams are always looking for a player. So, if you are looking to join a team, select Looking for a team as your skip in the league selection drop down menu when registering online. If you already have a team, enter your skip’s name so we know what team you are on -- very important.
